Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of www.insucargo.com and the InsuCargo platform, operated by InsuCargo, a brand of Aurope GmbH, a technology company registered in Germany (HRB 134440, Amtsgericht Frankfurt am Main).
1. What InsuCargo is
InsuCargo provides software that extracts shipment data from documents and connects you to cargo insurance issued by licensed parties. InsuCargo is not an insurer, insurance broker or agent, does not underwrite risk, does not give insurance advice and does not handle claims decisions.
2. The insurance contract
Any policy or certificate is a contract between you and the licensed insurer, arranged through our licensed insurance partner. Cover, price and claims are governed solely by the policy wording and the insurer's terms. Read them before you buy.
3. Premiums and fees
Payments are processed securely through the platform's payment infrastructure and settled with the licensed insurers under our agreement with them. Any platform fee charged by InsuCargo is a technology fee, shown separately.
4. Your responsibilities
- Review every field the platform extracts before you approve it. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information submitted, including goods description, value and route.
- Do not upload documents you are not entitled to use, or use the platform for sanctioned parties, goods or destinations.
- Keep your login credentials secure.
5. Automated extraction
Data extraction is automated and may contain errors. Incorrect or incomplete information may affect cover or claims. The approved data, not the original document, is what is submitted to the insurer.
6. Availability
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or suspend features.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, InsuCargo is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions made by insurers on cover or claims. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
